60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 at 10:30am

Christ the King Lutheran Church was founded in Port Washington in 1963, which means that this year, we have been practicing our faith for 60 years.

On Sunday, November 19th, we celebrated with a special worship service including a message from our Bishop, Rev. Paul Erickson of the ELCA’s Greater Milwaukee Synod. Following worship, we caught up with friends, saw a glimpse of the different ministries happening through our congregation, and enjoyed a delicious luncheon together.

Whether you’ve been involved at CTK for your whole life, or it’s been decades since you were here, or you’ve just gotten connected here this year, you are part of our congregation’s story.

As we reflect this fall on six decades of seeking to faithfully follow Jesus’ call here in Port Washington, we had a lot to celebrate. We stand on the shoulders of many faithful saints who came together to live out the gospel in this place, caring for each other, loving their neighbors, worshiping together, building and then expanding a church building, and working and giving of themselves to grow God’s Kingdom and do God’s will here and throughout the world. Thank you for being part of our story!

For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
-1 Corinthians 3:9
