Lighthouse Youth Service Trip
Here is an update from the group’s service trip last week: “We have been having a great week in St. Louis with Serve Boldly. Each morning and afternoon we’ve visited a different service organization and helped out for a couple hours. We’ve sorted food, tagged clothes at a thrift store, cut up old towels to make rag bundles, weeded, picked blackberries, organized donations, and repackaged large pallets of food into smaller portions to be better utilized by smaller food pantries. We even worked on a few projects (tie blankets and assembling dresser kits) back at our host church that we can donate to some of these organizations. We’ve also enjoyed time for worship, ice cream, and games with our new friends from Chicago who are serving with us this week.” God is good!
