About Christ the King Lutheran Church

Welcome to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin!

We believe God’s love is for you, no matter who you are. Our worship is a lively blend of modern and traditional music, Biblical messages, and Communion for everyone, all with a friendly, family feel. We would love for you to join us for worship at 8:30 each Sunday morning.

If you’re new to Port Washington and looking for a friendly community, feeling a nudge from God to look for a church home, or you just have questions and want to connect, we're right here in the neighborhood, and we’d love to get to know you. There's a place for you here!

We are a vibrant, active congregation of the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, serving and witnessing to Jesus in Port Washington since 1963. Our pastor is Rev. Daniel Flucke.

God has blessed Christ the King with strong people who are committed to their faith, to one another, and to people in need.

We worship each Sunday morning at 8:30 am. After the service, there is always a time of coffee, snacks, and fellowship. A small group study is also available after service.

Our sanctuary is distinctive, beautiful, relaxing, and accessible.  It is open visually to God’s beautiful creation outside, which is one of the blessings of Port Washington. We offer a quiet play area in our worship space for small children, and children grades K-5 are dismissed before the message to our children's church area to enjoy an age-appropriate curriculum. We invite older youth to lead or assist in worship, and the church is a founding member of the Lighthouse Port Washington-Saukville Ecumenical Youth Ministry cooperative.

We are active members in the Port Washington community, both as a community of faith and as individuals. We welcome you to join us Sunday mornings!

MISSION STATEMENT:

We are the people of God united in Christ; called to minister to each other, and to reach out to all the people with love and the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ; in order that God’s Kingdom may grow and God’s will be done here and throughout the world.
